Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology
The Fellowship in Clinical Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology was started in July 2016, for Radiologists aspiring to sub-specialize in MSK radiology. It is first of its kind in India and very few selected centres offer this particular course across the world. The course offers adequate exposure, free reporting opportunity of high volume radiological investigations. Candidates will be working in a high volume Radiology Department which specialises on multi-modal imaging of all Musculoskeletal pathology. The focus will be on Clinical MSK Radiology with ample opportunities to interact with clinicians and learn interventional & therapeutic arthrogram procedures like vertebroplasty, selective nerve root block, image-guided biopsies and injections for joints, etc. Ample opportunity and encouragement for clinical research and paper presentations. Fellows can expect ample opportunity to learn, practice and improve upon their diagnostic skills, supplemented by frequent interdepartmental discussions, journal clubs and seminar presentations. The following fellowships in musculoskeletal imaging are offered: Ganga fellowship: (3 fellows) 1. Duration of course: 1 year 2. Intake: Twice a year (January and June) 3. Expected date of joining: 1st Jan, 1st June Tamil Nadu MGR University Post-Doctoral fellowship: (2 fellows) 1. Duration of course: 2 years 2. Expected last date of application: October 31st 3.
