DDH
DDH or Developmental Dysplasia of Hip is a condition in which there is abnormal development of the child’s hip. The abnormalities may range from a subtle problem in the cup called ‘dysplasia’ to a complete dislocation of the ball out of the cup called ‘dislocation’. Though this is not as common a problem in our country compared to the West, we do see a significant number. Our centre specializes in the treatment of DDH and we treat the entire spectrum of hip dysplasia by the following procedures:
- Closed Reduction
- Open Reduction
- Open Reduction with Femoral Osteotomy
- Femoral Osteotomy with Acetabuloplasty
- Triple Innominate Osteotomy
- Peri-Acetabular Osteotomy (PAO)
