Prof MV Daniel received the lifetime achievement award for his rich contribution to education and academics in orthopaedics for many decades. Prof M V Daniel headed the Orthopaedic Department of Christian Medical College, Vellore for many years and subsequently has been the Academic Director of Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore from 1992.
