Perthe's Disease
Perthes disease is a disorder affecting the blood circulation of the femoral head leading to shape changes of the femoral head. If left untreated these hips would land in early arthritis. The following surgical procedures are offered for patients with Perthe's disease depending on the age and stage of the disease
- Varus derotation osteotomy of the femur
- Shelf acetabuloplasty
- Triple Innominate Osteotomy
- Osteochondroplasty with relative neck lengthening
- Head Reduction and reshaping Osteotomy
