Dr Ramesh Perumal had his basic orthopaedic training at Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai in 2004 and completed his Diplomate National Board in Orthopaedics from Ganga hospital in2006. He joined the unit as a registrar in 2007 and became a senior registrar in 2009 and promoted as Associate consultant in 2013. He completed pelvi-acetabular and geriatric trauma fellowship in the University of Johannes-Gutenberg, Mainz, Germany and Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria in 2014. He is an invited faculty for pelvi-acetabular workshop and delivered many lectures including live surgical demonstrations. He has presented more than 100 presentations in the field of trauma surgery and pelvi-acetabular fractures. Currently working as Consultant in Trauma surgery
