Dr S.R. Sundararajan joined the department in 1997 and is working as a Senior Consultant in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine and Foot & Ankle Surgery. After finishing his post-graduation training, he had advanced training in Flinders Medical Centre in Australia and also short-term training at Arthroscopic Centres in France and Cape Town, South Africa. He started the Arthroscopy & sports medicine department at Ganga Hospital in 2004. He has won the Best Paper Awards in Indian Arthroscopy meetings of 2008 and 2013 and consultant medals in 2013, 2014 & 2017 of Tamil Nadu Orthopedic Association. He is conducting Ganga Arthroscopy course and rehabilitation course every alternate year with attendance of more than 500 delegates. He is the past president of the Indian foot and ankle society , Indian association of sports medicine and is currently the Leg, Ankle & Foot Committee Member of ISAKOS, General secretary of the Indian arthroscopy society & President of Tamilnadu Orthopaedic Association.
