Dr P. Dhanasekara Raja joined the department in 2002 and is a Consultant Joint replacement surgeon. After his basic training in orthopaedics, he has completed Fellowships in Arthroplasty at Adelaide & Sydney, Australia, Hospital for Special Surgery, Newyork, USA, APOA Travelling Clinical Arthroplasty Fellowship in 2010 and Diploma in Tissue banking from the National University of Singapore with distinction. His area of expertise includes primary & revision total knee and hip replacements, trauma surgery and tissue banking. His surgical skills and clinical research in arthroplasty is well recognised & has received many accolades.
