Dr Devendra Agraharam joined the department in 2005 as a Post graduate. He received Best Resident Award in 2005 and was awarded Prof M V Daniel Gold Medal for Exemplary Clinical Care in 2010 and Prof M Natarajan Gold Medal in TNOA 2006. He got trained in Bone banking at TATA Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and NUS, Singapore and started Bone bank in Ganga hospital in 2008. He also underwent a fellowship in Trauma surgery at the Department of Trauma, Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria in 2011. He has co-authored a chapter on 'Initial management of open injuries 'in the Rockwood & Green Textbook of trauma. Apart from this he also 12 international trauma publications in reputed journals. He has 4 international & 28 national presentations & is recipient of 5 gold medals in various state & national meetings.
