Dr. D. Soundar Rajan completed his M.B.B.S. in 2009. He finished his M.S. Orthopaedics in 2013, was awarded the best outgoing student and secured Prof. Annamalai Gold medal. He has undergone TNOA KR Venkateswar travelling fellowship in 2014. At the South Indian Arthroplasty Academy (SIAA), he completed the fellowship in joint replacement surgery. He joined the Department of Arthroplasty at Ganga Hospital in 2016 as a senior registrar. In 2018, he completed a short-term fellowship in computer-assisted navigation surgery at Asklepios Klinik in Germany under Prof. Heiko Greichen. He served on the scientific committees of the Ganga Operative Arthroplasty Conferences (GOAC) in 2017 and 2019, as well as the IOACON-2018. He has co-authored 13 scientific publications in national and international journals and 3 book chapters. He won the TNOA Prof. Xavier Gold medal in 2012 and the TNOA Dr Vidyashankar Gold medal in 2020. He has presented various scientific papers at various state and national level conferences.
