Ganga Hand Operative Course 2019

  • Date: 30th May - 1st June 2019
  • Venue: Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore.

Dear All,

We are happy to announce this years Ganga Operative Hand Course, scheduled on 30th May to 1st June 2019.

As you would be aware, Ganga Hospital organises a highly popular Ganga Operative Hand Course ever year. The course is a LIVE SURGICAL DEMONSTRATION and covers only LIVE surgeries (No lectures).

The hospital has a state of art auditorium with a seating capacity of 400 and with audiovisual facilities allowing live telecast from the operation theater to the auditorium and a two way discussion between the operating faculty and the delegates. The delegates can ask questions to the operating faculty and interact with them.

The feedback to the previous courses have been amazing. This encourages us to do this course every year in spite of the challenges encountered in organizing the live surgery workshops. During the period of 3 days we will try to cover all aspects of hand surgery from a minor trigger finger to a toe transfer. We will include the cases of congenital hand problems, brachial plexus injuries, nerve injuries, wrist injuries and arthritis.

This year the foreign faculty are Dr. Peter Maloney from Australia, who is an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon with special interest in Hand and Wrsit Surgery and Dr. Keizo Fukumoto from Japan, who is known for his work in congenital hand problems. They along with the Ganga Hospital Faculty will be operating the cases.

The course is well suited for all the Orthopedic Surgeons dealing with trauma and Plastic Surgeons. It is a not to miss for those having special interest in Hand Surgery.

We are working hard to get a perfect combination of the cases to satisfy the younger as well as the experienced surgeons. We assure that there will be something for everyone to learn and enrich their knowledge.

In short it is a NOT TO MISS course....

Looking forward to seeing you all on 30th May to 1st June 2019 at Coimbatore
